Nine to Six premieres on SBS on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 9 p.m. KST, airing every Wednesday and Thursday, according to SBS. The romantic comedy starring Park Min-young, Yook Sungjae and Go Soo has 12 episodes, per Variety and Korean media. Outside Korea it streams on Prime Video from the same day, Variety reports; Netflix carries it in South Korea only, according to What's on Netflix. Availability varies by region.

The November 18 date circulating online does not hold up. SBS's announcement, Variety's report and Prime Video's November listing for Canada (via MobileSyrup) all give November 25. The 18th appears on fan-database lists, which this desk treats as leads, not sources.

Episode release schedule

SBS has confirmed the Wednesday, November 25 premiere at 9 p.m. KST and the Wednesday–Thursday slot. Every date after the premiere week is projected from that pattern, assuming two episodes a week and no breaks. Korean broadcasters often move episodes for sports or year-end programming, and this run would end on the last two days of December.

What's on Netflix says new Netflix Korea episodes follow the same Wednesday–Thursday pattern. Prime Video's release time and cadence have not been announced; Variety and Prime Video's Canadian listing give only the November 25 start.

Netflix or Prime Video? Where to watch, by region

The confusion comes from early coverage describing the SBS drama as "coming to Netflix", which many readers took to mean worldwide. What's on Netflix's October 27 report clarifies that Netflix's rights are limited to Korea and that Amazon distributes the series internationally. SBS sells streaming rights territory by territory; Good Partner 2, the network's other new November drama, follows the same split with different partners. Cast

Roles are as described by SBS, Soompi and Variety; English spellings of character names vary between outlets. Nam Yoon-ho, Choi Ji-su, Chun Woo-jin, Jung Hae-kyun, Jo Bok-rae, Cha Chung-hwa and Bae Yoo-ram round out the supporting cast, according to Soompi. SBS says the series marks Go Soo's first romance role in 15 years, and Variety notes Yook Sungjae is a member of K-pop group BTOB.

What's it about? (No spoilers)

SBS describes Nine to Six as a work–life balance romance: a rational woman who has defined herself through her job meets a warm, emotional man. Kang Yi-ji has put love aside for her career at Chronic Motors until Han Sun-woo joins her legal team as an intern, according to What's on Netflix and Variety. Go Soo's Park Hyun-tae, an elite general manager who judges staff only by performance, completes the office triangle, per Soompi.

The series is an adaptation of the 2021 Chinese drama The Rational Life, Soompi reports.

Our take: at 12 episodes over five weeks, Nine to Six is a lighter commitment than a 16-episode drama such as Good Partner 2, and Prime Video's same-day start means overseas viewers shouldn't be waiting days behind Korea, though the exact upload time is still unknown.
