The best K-drama to start on Netflix this month is Doctor X: Mafia in White. It's Korea's highest-rated drama right now, it was No. 2 on Netflix's global non-English chart in late October, and its 12 episodes finish on November 14. For something finished, our picks are When Life Gives You Tangerines (moving) and Teach You a Lesson (fun). For the big ones, start with Squid Game and The Glory.

About availability: this list favours Netflix originals, which are released in nearly every Netflix country. Shows Netflix licenses from Korean channels can differ by region. We flag those below. If a title doesn't show up for you, it isn't licensed in your country.

1. Doctor X: Mafia in White (2026)

A freelance surgeon (Kim Ji-won) is placed at a university hospital run on factions and favours. It's sharp and fast, with a case-of-the-week shape that makes it easy to binge. It's on Netflix in most regions as it airs. Episode dates are in our Doctor X episode schedule.

2. 100 Days of Deception (2026)

Kim You-jung and Park Jinyoung lead a spy romance set in 1930s colonial Seoul. It was No. 8 on Netflix's global non-English chart for October 19–25 and is still climbing in Korea. Here's the full episode schedule.

3. Teach You a Lesson (2026)

The surprise hit of the summer. Kim Mu-yeol and Lee Sung-min play agents from a fictional government bureau who deal with school bullies by force. Based on a webtoon, it's 10 episodes long. According to Netflix's Top 10 figures reported by the Korea Herald, it became Netflix's fifth most-watched Korean series ever, passing The Glory. It's loud and a bit cathartic, and the action is well staged.

4. When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025)

IU and Park Bo-gum lead a decades-spanning story of a Jeju Island couple, with Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon as their older selves. Netflix released it in four weekly batches, and it topped the global non-English chart for its first weeks. If you only watch one K-drama this year for the writing, make it this one. Keep tissues nearby from episode 4.

5. Squid Game (Seasons 1–3)

Netflix's most-watched non-English series ever: season 1 drew 265.2 million views in its first 91 days, and seasons 2 and 3 are Nos. 2 and 3 on the same list. The story is complete across three seasons. Season 1 still works best as a standalone.

6. The Glory (2022–2023)

Song Hye-kyo plays a woman who spends years planning revenge on the classmates who tormented her. Patient, cold and very satisfying. It's a useful warm-up for her new Netflix drama, Tantara, which arrives on December 11.

7. All of Us Are Dead (2022)

A zombie outbreak inside a high school. It's Netflix's fourth most-watched Korean series, and season 2 was teased at Netflix Korea's October event, though without a date. A good time to catch up.

8. Weak Hero Class 1 & 2

Park Ji-hoon plays a top student who fights back with brains and whatever is on his desk. Season 1 originally streamed elsewhere before reaching a global Netflix audience in 2025, and season 2 (April 2025) is a Netflix original. Short, tight and violent. Our favourite school-set action show of the decade.

Licensed favourites to search for

These Korean-TV dramas are licensed by Netflix in many countries but not all. Search your app before you plan a binge:

  • Crash Landing on You (tvN, 2019–2020): the gateway romance for a lot of fans.
  • Queen of Tears (tvN, 2024): a big, glossy, chaebol melodrama.
  • Extraordinary Attorney Woo (ENA, 2022): a warm legal drama with a memorable lead.

How we chose

We picked shows that are (a) on Netflix now in most major markets, (b) finished or finishing soon, so you're not stuck on a cliffhanger for a year, and (c) shows we'd recommend to a friend, not just the most popular ones. We left out several 2026 Netflix titles that are big in Korea but have patchy international availability.

Coming soon: The Blue Road (November 20) and Tantara (December 11). Both are in our November schedule and December–early 2027 preview.
